Women in Islam

O mankind!! We created you from a single ( pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know each other, verily the most honored of you in the sight of God is ( one who is ) the most righteous of you. And God has full knowledge and is well acquainted ( with all things).
Her position in early Islam was really an exemplary one, one that should be studied and known by every women as well a every Liberationist in the 20th C . The Muslim woman, if she is true to te principles of her religion, has lessons in equality to teach the Westerner, and her descendants in the East have to learn the role demanded of them by their religion. Orientalists and Orientals Zealous for modernization should cease to put the blame of Islam, a blame which instead deserves to fall on their own ignorance of the faith and on the political and social decline which their nations suffered in the past.

Blaming others..

We have all at one time or another heard our mothers say to us : " My child did this or that on some impulse, but, deep down he is a very good person."

It is one thing to live one's life blaming ourselves for thoughtless actions that led us astray; guilt doesn't get us anywhere and it can even remove any stimulus to improve. It is quite another thing , however, to forgive ourselves for everything; that way we will never be able to set ourselves on the right path again.

There is also common sense, and we should judge the results of our actions and not the intentions behind them. Deep down, everyone is good, but that's irelevant.

An old Arab Proverb says: " God judges a tree by its fruits, not by its roots."

Good Luck....

Good luck....today is Thursday..I wish you all the best..
I will pray for you ....and all who apply to the program..
May Allah bless you all...
We will wait for saying.....CONGRATULATION

Thank you for all the those times

when I needed you

Thank you for standing

Through the days, by my side

As also for the comfort

When tears, I could not hide.

Thank you for words, not said

when words can't mend.

Thank you knowing

As not knowing, what to do

Thank you for easing

Yet pulling me through!

Thank you for all the time

You listen and you do

Thank you most especially ,

being my brother, for you.

Self- Deception

It is part of human nature always to judge others very severly and, when the wind turns against us, always to find an excuse for our own misdeeds, or to blame someone else for our mistakes. They story that follows illustrates what I mean.

A messenger was sent on an urgent mission to a distant city. He saddled up his horse ans set off at a gallop. After passing several inns where animals like him were normally fed, the horse thought: " We aren't stopping to eat at any stables, which means that I'm being treated, not like a horse, but like a human being. Like all other men, I will eat in the next big city we reach."

But the big citites all passed by, one after the other, and his rider continued on his way. The horse began to think: " Perhaps I haven't been changed into a human being after all, but into an angel, because angels have no need to eat."

Finally, they reached their destination and the animal was led t othe stable, where he greedily devoured the hay he found there.

" Why believe that things have changed simply because they do not happen quite as expected?" he said to himself. " I'm not a man or an angel. I'm simply a hungry horse."

To my friend.....

A friend is one

To whom one may pour

Knowing that the

Gentlest of hands

Will take and stif it

And with a breath of kindness

Real Happiness and Inner peace

Real happiness and peace can be found in submitting to the commands of the Creator and the Sustaines of this world. God has said in the Quran:

" Truly, in remembering God do hearts find rest"

On the other hand, the one who turns away from the Quran will have a life of hardship in the world. God has said:

" But whoever turns away from the Quran he will have a hard life, and We will raise him up blind on the Day of Judgement."

This may explain why some people commit suicide while they enjoy the material comfort money can buy. For example, look at Cat Stevens ( now Yusuf Islam), formerly, a famous Pop Singer, who used to earn sometimes more than 150,000 $ a night. After he converts to Islam , he found true happiness and peace which he had not found in material success.

I have learned

* I have learned that...I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

* I have learned that...being kind is more important than being right.

*I have learned that ...just one person saying to me, " you have made my day!!" make my day, too.

* I have learned that...I feel better about myself when I make others feel happy about themselves.

* I have learned that....what we have done for ourselves alone die with us.

* I have learned that....one sincere apology is worth more than all the roses money can buy.

* I have learned that...words spoken harshly are as difficult to retrieve as feathers in a gale.

* I have learned that ....sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to hear.

*I have learned that....we should be glad God does not give us everything we ask for.

* I have learned that.....under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

* and mostly .....I have learned that I have Good Friends.

The light

When your path is leading into murky waters...
The only way to keep from falling in
is to lift your head up and look for some light...

The Story of the pencil

A boy was watching his grandmother write a letter. At one point ,he asked: " Are you writing a story about what we've done? Is it a story about me?"
His grandmother sopped writing her letter ans said to her grandson:
" I am writing about you, actually , but more important than the words is the pencil I'm using. I hope you will be like this pencil when you grow up."
Intrigued, the boy looked at the pencil. It didn't seem very special.
"But it's just like any other pencil I've ever seen!!"
"That depends on how you look at things. It has five qualities which if you manage to hang on t othem, will make you a person who is always at peace with the world."
"First quality: you are capable of great things, but you must never forget that there is a hand guiding your steps. We call that hand God, and He always guides us according to His will"
" Second quality: now and then , I have to stop writing and use a sharpener. That makes the pencil suffer a little , but afterwords, he's much sharper. So you, too, must learn to bear certain pains and sorrows, because they will make you a better person."
" Third quality: the pencil always allows us to use an eraser to rub out any mistakes. This means that correcting something we did is not necessarily a bad thing; it helps to keep us on the road to justice."
"Fourth quality: what really matters in a pencil is not its wooden exterior, but the graphite inside. So always pay attention to what is happening inside you."
"Finally, the pencil's fifth quality: it always leaves a mark. In just the same way, you should know that everything you do in life will leave a mark, so try to be conscious of that in your every action."

My Ambition

Every morning when I wake up
I wake up looking forward to what I can accomplish
Developing positive goals
Realizing the power of ambition
The power of change
Life consists of positive transformations
Nothing is final unless you let it be
Open your eyes to a broad pathway
A journey that will lead you to a fulfilling future
You choose the path you take
You prepare the draft of your life
You have control
You have the ability to plan your destiny
Not everything is your life is planned
Every day is a new day
You are capable and worthy of becoming who you want to be
Never give up
Have determination
Follow your heart and all your dreams will come true

Loneliness by Rebicca Drollinger

It is a cold today
Indeed the rain is falling and I am alone
Thoughts of life and love
meaningless to anyone but myself
I am alone
They watch we, their eyes not knowing
knowing nothing of what they see
I am but another creature, alone
They scurry on the surface, unaware
unaware of life below
when you are alone
Loneliness, not a burden nor a sorrow
but a time of solace, of deepness
never to be shared, never to be understood
They can never reach the place where I am
And I know I will never reach the place where they are
I know I do not want to reach that place
True happiness is here, unmisted
Unmisted by smiles or laughter
Unmisted by the joys of the company
To find true happiness
To know if one is truely happy
He must be Happy Alone.
